Your grade is built from real combat data โ not just what content you've cleared. Every dungeon run and raid boss is scored on throughput, survivability, interrupts, avoidable damage, and utility.
B is the center by design. Most active players land between B and B+. The grades above that are where real skill differentiation happens.
Each spec is rated independently. Your offspec has its own grade. Early season scores may shift as more players log runs โ the system gets sharper with volume, not because the formula changes.
Your grade measures how well you perform โ not just what you've completed. IO tells you what someone has done. Summoned tells you how well they did it.
Six dimensions are analyzed for every run: DPS/HPS (damage or healing output), Clean Play (deaths, adjusted for affixes), Interrupts (your share relative to your group and class), Avoidable Damage (standing in the bad), Key Outcome (timed vs depleted, and by how much), and Utility (dispels, defensives, and other contributions).
Dimensions are weighted by key level โ DPS matters more in lower keys, mechanics matter more in higher keys. If a dimension has no data, its weight is redistributed. You are never penalized for missing data.
Grades are population-relative. B (Proven Pugger) is the center โ most active M+ players land between B and B+. Every grade is a real ranking, not an indicator of missing data.
Scores start fast and get deeper as more data arrives:
Quick Read โ instant, based on Raider.IO timing and completion data. Available for every character with an IO score.
Combat Score โ adds Warcraft Logs rankings and telemetry (DPS, deaths, interrupts). Requires logged runs.
Summoned Score โ full behavioral analysis including avoidable damage, utility, and consistency across all runs. The deepest view of how you play.
Confidence is separate from your grade. It measures how much data backs the score. A B+ with high confidence is a proven performer. An A+ with low confidence might look great but needs more runs to confirm.
Early in the season, everyone starts with lower confidence. As you log more runs, confidence climbs and your grade becomes more stable.
Run more keys โ volume builds confidence and proves consistency.
Time your keys โ Key Outcome tracks whether you beat the timer and by how much.
Stay alive โ Clean Play is heavily weighted in higher keys. Deaths hurt more than low DPS.
Kick and dodge โ interrupts and avoidable damage separate good players from great ones.
Log your raids โ combat logging lets Summoned analyze your full behavioral profile.
Play consistently โ ten solid runs move the needle more than one great run.
